Expanding on my investigation into complimentary colors and texture, Soft and Hard brings it together to create an installation of work. Experimenting with my use of embroidery on the previous project this one amps it up to a larger scale.
Soft is defined as easy to Mould, cut, compress or fold, Hard is defined as being rigid: not easily broken, bent or pierced. Exploring the differentiation between those concepts. This project experiments with using multiple layers of contrasting ideals surrounding textiles on stone along with Color and the absence of it.
