'Image' was a group exhibition held at the University for the Creative Arts that explored the complex power of the image and its ability to communicate, conceal, provoke, and transform. The exhibition brought together diverse practices to examine how images function across contexts, how they shape perception, and how they carry cultural, emotional, and psychological weight.
Displayed below is my "Creature of mind' 2024, a work that endeavours to use paradoilia and Freudian theories to provoke an emotional and psychological response in my audience dependant on their emotional reception. The Piece invites subjective interpretation, drawing on the unconscious mind to provoke personal projections and associations.
